Our Growth Story:
Once upon a time, nestled in the quaint little town of Mylapore Chennai , there existed an old and enchanting saree store called "Sampurna Shastriar." The store had a rich history that dated back several generations, passing down the family line, each heir cherishing and adding their own touch to its legacy.
The tale began in the late 19th century when my great grandfather started weaving traditional silk sarees. With an impeccable eye for design and a passion for preserving the cultural heritage, these sarees soon gained popularity among the locals. The sarees were known for their intricate patterns, vibrant colors, and the exquisite quality of silk used and soon established a loyal clientele who appreciated the authenticity and craftsmanship of their products.
From 1902 to 1990 , 88 years of his legacy flourished. After his demise unfortunately it had to be shut . Now in 2020, after 30years , I Pavithra Diwakar , have started this business in the name of Sampoornam Creations. Keeping in mind quality as first priority ,reasonable pricing and bringing sarees directly to you from our weavers, it is my humble endeavour to rekindle the magic that my family had once created.
